Abika specialises in sustainable investing for private clients and non-profits. She sits on LGT Wealth Management’s Sustainable Investment, Sustainable Equity, and International Equity Committees, as well as co-chairing the Gender workstream of their award-winning employee-led Diversity and Inclusion initiative.

Prior to joining LGT, Abika co-managed around £7bn of private client wealth through a suite of model portfolios, where she was instrumental in restructuring the fund analysis and selection process for both Active and Passive funds, including the incorporation of ESG considerations in the latter, and the mandatory assessment of diversity within fund management teams for the former. She has also previously worked as an Independent Financial Adviser.

Abika has a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Bristol, and holds the Chartered Wealth Manager qualification from the CISI and the Diploma in Financial Planning from the CII. In 2021, Abika won the Change Excellence Award at Investment Week’s Women in Investment Awards in recognition of her efforts to improve representation across the financial services sector, and to support the IFA community to better engage with female clients. She is a volunteer with GAIN and an Education Champion through the Personal Finance Society.
