Ben Seager-Scott
Chief Investment Officer at Forvis Mazars
Ben is Chief Investment Officer at Forvis Mazars in the UK, leading the investment team in the provision of discretionary investment services to clients and manages investment portfolios in excess of £2bn. He chairs the investment committee which includes independent, external members in addition to representatives from across the broader Forvis Mazars business, and has overall responsibility for all aspects of the investment process, including process governance, asset allocation, instrument selection and execution.
Ben and the team also provide governance and consultancy services to a wide range of not-for-profit organisations, including portfolio reviews, performance monitoring and benchmarking, ESG policy analysis and fund manager selection services. He was previously Head of Multi-Asset Funds at Tilney Smith & Williamson and prior to that worked as an analyst at Bristol-based Whitechurch Securities.
Ben is also an authorised spokesperson for the firm and is regularly cited in the press on investment matters. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
He is also a member of the Investment Portfolio Advisory Group within the Royal Society of Chemistry is a member of the Finance Committee for St Albans Cathedral.
